Collaborative or Interagency Case

The level and complexity of people’s needs and of the service system
sometimes requires a collaborative or interagency approach for working with
individuals and families.
This training program has been developed for case managers and

strategies for working with other agencies to provide coordinated support. It
covers:
- Aspects of collaborative or interagency case management
- Key collaborative case management processes and including common assessment,
key worker/coordinator role and service agreements
- Key issues such as information sharing and confidentiality

Community and Client
Participation
The same members of the community are on our
committees and working parties. We only hear the opinions of the same few
people who are willing to have a say.
Most organisations consult with the community or clients at some time. But
sometimes we want to move beyond consultation to participation. How do we do
that is a way that involves more people and that is not tokenistic? This
training program has been developed for managers and staff interested in
developing effective structures and processes for community and client
participation. It covers:
- Levels of community/client participation
- Models and techniques for different levels of participation
- Structures and processes for ongoing participation
- Strategies for accessible and inclusive participation.
As well as training Affirm is able to assist you with the
development of a participation model and plan, the development or participation
policies and processes and the review and evaluation of your participation
strategy.
